Stolas was once an angel of an unknown choir and took Lucifer's side in the War in Heaven not as a warrior but as a navigator, guiding the rebel host by the stars. The wiki paints him as a scholarly near-pacifist who finds war fruitless and prefers discovery, sharing his knowledge of minerals with Hell's smiths such as Mulciber for the forging of weapons and artifacts.
Stolas, a prince in the shape of an owl, teaches the stars and herbs. Owls see at night — do not pretend to sleep.
