Before his fall Marchosias belonged to the angelic Order of Dominions, and he confided to Solomon, who had bound him, his vain hope of returning to the Seventh Throne after 1,200 years. Modern practitioners regard him as a demon of strength, both inner and outer, summoned for resolve and motivation.
Marchosias fights faithfully: he still hopes to return to heaven. Trust one who has something left to lose.
