Räum
Raim · Raym

A crow at first, then a man's shape.
Steals treasures out of kings' houses, destroys cities and dignities, tells things past and to come, and causes love between friends and foes.
A thief-spirit at the magician's service — a direct echo of the era's treasure-and-brigand fantasies of the perfect robbery. Before the fall he was of the Order of Thrones.
Before the fall Raum belonged to the Thrones, tasked with turning the wheels of God's palaces — a duty he privately despised, wandering off to pry into other angels' work until he joined Lucifer's revolt. He was cast down by the angel Lemechiel, whose blow lamed his left leg and sparked a lasting feud between them. In Hell he is reputed a scruffy, meddlesome noble — Mephistopheles says he loves sticking his beak into everyone's business — yet remains fiercely loyal to Lucifer. The wiki also identifies him with the Egyptian god Khnum and repeats a rumor of a pact with the poet Gustav Davidson.
Räum steals from the houses of kings. Yours is not a king's house, but he keeps an open mind.
