Appears as

A crow, then a man; he speaks with a hoarse voice.

Office

Builds houses and high towers, brings to knowledge the thoughts of enemies, gives good familiars — but deceives those who sacrifice to him.

Notes

He receives sacrifices “kindly and willingly” — and then deceives the giver: one of the grimoire's few explicit warnings against sacrifice.

Apocrypha

According to the wiki, Malphas served as an angel under Samael and fell with him in the War in Heaven; when Pandemonium was founded he was made a Great President of Hell. He alone kept his old allegiance intact after the fall, remaining Satan's second-in-command.

The Chronicle

Malphas.
I can build a mountain from a molehill. Not metaphorically, but literally. Give me a molehill and I'll use it as the base of a support beam of a tower ten times taller than that glorified shack doomed to fiction known as Dubai City Tower.— Malphas

Malphas is a mighty Great President of Hell, having forty legions of demons under his command and is second in command under Satan.

Overview

Malphas was an angel serving under Samael. After the War in Heaven, he fell from grace and was later then appointed as a Great President of Hell with the founding of Pandemonium and becoming part of the Ars Goetia. Malphas retained his loyalty to Satan even after the fall and became his second in command.

Malphas accepts willingly and kindly any sacrifice offered to him, but then he will allegedly deceive the conjurer.

Description

He builds houses, high towers, strongholds, throws down the buildings of the enemies, can destroy the enemies' desires or thoughts (and/or make them known to the conjurer) and all what they have done, gives good familiars, and can bring quickly artificers together from all places of the world.

Malphas gladly receives sacrifices, and gladly deceives those who bring them. An offering is not a sacrifice — the difference matters.
