Office

Knows things past and to come, and makes men witty and bold.

Notes

His composite body — lion, goose, hare — reads like an emblem: courage, vigilance and timidity fused into a single figure of wit.

Apocrypha

After the fall Ipos stood at Pandemonium during Lucifer's rally, formally declaring himself God's enemy forever; that loyalty earned him his place among the 72 elite demons of the Goetia. He is equated with the Egyptian god Anubis, and his titles include Lord of Fools. One legend claims he once gave Guy Fawkes 'a little inspiration'.
