An ugly viper, then human shape with great teeth and two horns, carrying a sharp sword.
Tells of things past and to come, and reconciles friends and foes.
The first spirit in the list with a double rank (President and Earl) — such spirits take a seal cast from an alloy of both ranks' metals.
The Grand Grimoire lists Botis as a direct subordinate of Agaliarept, with the demon Sybacco serving under him in turn. He is credited with a fanged sword that lashes out at great speed to impale foes from a distance, moving like a serpent in keeping with his viper nature.

Botis is the 17th demon spirit of the Ars Goetia, he is a great President and an Earl.
Description
He first appears in the form of an ugly viper but at the command of the summoner he can assume the form of a man with great teeth and two horns, carrying a sharp bright sword in his hand.
Overview
Like a majority of the Ars Goetia, he was once an angel that joined Lucifer's ranks during the War in Heaven only to be defeated and cast out of Heaven into the abyss. Upon the establishing of Hell and its governing system, he becomes appointed as a great president as well as an Earl of the Inferno. He governs 60 legions of spirits.
According to the Grand Grimoire, he is a direct subordinate of Agaliarept. He tells of all things past and to come and can reconcile with friends and foes. Botis is known to have a sword that extends at high speed to impale his opponents from a distance. The sword itself behaves much like a serpent in accordance to the theme of its master who is a viper demon.
